Y Combinator believes the barrier to entry for people to start a startup is still too high. They want to make it easier for people to start a company (as do we), regardless of who or where you are, so Y Combinator is starting by sharing what they've learned through Startup School, and we're sharing the lectures to our community and fellow startups.
Startup School is a free 10-week massively open online course (MOOC) offered by Y Combinator. Lectures will be taught by a diverse group of entrepreneurs and industry leaders at Stanford University. In addition, class office hours will be held each week to give live advice and feedback to the class. Participation can be as a spectator or founder. The course will begin on April 5th, 2017 and run consecutively for 10 weeks.
